Granite Hot Springs Snowmobile Trail

Granite Hot Springs is a beautiful place to be. Escape the problems of the workday world and sink into the natural rejuvenating warm-water springs. With both a man-made swimming pool and a natural hot springs bath, this spot offers some fabulous opportunities to luxuriate in healing water as well as great trail and off-trail snowmobiling. South of Jackson, Granite Hot Springs is tucked away in the Gros Ventre Mountains, just under 7,000 feet above sea level.

A short 35-minute drive south of Jackson, the Granite Hot Springs trail takes you through 9 beautiful miles of the Bridger Teton National Forest. Pack a lunch for a picnic and don’t forget your swimsuit and towel so you can enjoy a relaxing soak in the naturally fed hot springs in which water temperature ranges from 105–112 in the winter.

Granite Hot Springs pool is open 10-5 in the winter.

Togwotee Pass Snowmobile Trail

Togwotee Pass is your access to an amazing high elevation wilderness just about 50 minutes away from Jackson Hole. Over 600 miles of groomed snowmobile trails and awesome open meadows to play around and ride your rental snowmobile.

Have lunch at Brooks Lodge in the middle of the trail or just ride in awesome backcountry all day. Togwotee Pass gets tons of snow as early as September.

The forest service starts grooming trails on around the 15th of December.

Curtis Canyon Off-Road Trail

Just 15 minutes away from Jackson – Curtis Canyon is a beginner to intermediate trail that brings you to a stunning area with incredible views of Grand Tetons and the whole valley.

In the back of the trail you will go deeper into the forest. Behind the Curtis Canyon trail there is a flat creek trail that will bring you to a gorgeous canyon and a lake in the end that you can hike to.

Grab a sandwich and drinks for a nice picnic in the backcountry. There is possibility of wildlife.

Gros Ventre Off-Road Trail

About 35 minutes north of Jackson, Wyoming right behind the town of Kelly, WY you will find a beautiful and large beginner to intermediate trail that can take you a whole day to explore. You will see lakes rivers and passes with beautiful views.
